Uncommonly Good Donations

WHY DONATE TO GOODWILL ?

Our mission is to help Oklahomans overcome challenges to employment. With your help, together we can help individuals reach their full potential through learning and the power of work.

The revenue from donations and financial contributions goes directly to fulfilling our mission by providing jobs, employment training, and the education needed to transform lives and help people get back on their feet. When you give, you’re helping Oklahomans: your neighbors, your friends, your community and your environment.

Donate to provide hope and a future for people like David

There are many people within our community experiencing barriers to entering the workforce. With your donations, we can help those in our community who are struggling to gain the skills they need to return to work today and in the future. Our Employment Services Center and our Career Pathways Institute provides skills training for many different industries as well as job placement services once those job skills have been obtained. By getting these individuals back on their feet and back to work, families and communities are strengthened, lives are improved, and the economy is energized. That is why your donations are so important to our cause. Without you, none of this is possible.

Additionally, when you donate to Goodwill, hang on to your receipt! You can claim a possible tax deduction for donations that are in good condition. The U.S. Internal Revenue Service requires you to state the value of your donation in order to claim a deduction. Their site can help guide you with obtaining an estimation of your donations.

Thank you for supporting Goodwill. Without it, Goodwill would not be able to serve our community members and fulfill our mission.
