When you make a local donation to your Goodwill, you help many Oklahomans receive career development services and job training programs that help them become independent, self-sufficient members of their communities. No matter how you choose to make your Goodwill donation, your contributions offer many Oklahomans the dignity and satisfaction that comes from working.
Your local donations help Goodwill by:
- Generating revenue to support essential job training and job placement services for people with disabilities and disadvantages.
- Providing training for people who may not yet be ready to join the community’s competitive labor force.
- Providing the local business community with motivated workers, trained in fields where job openings exist.
Eighty-eight percent of the revenue earned through the sale of your donated goods goes directly towards finding jobs and providing training for people with disabilities and disadvantages. You will receive a receipt for tax deduction purposes at the time of your donation.
Did you know you can donate more than gently used clothes, furnishings and other household goods? There are a variety of ways to donate to Goodwill – you don’t even have to leave your home!
